The Meanwood Village Association, which is non denominational and non political, was set up in 1972 with the following aims:

1) To research, record and preserve in all possible ways the history of Meanwood.

2) To preserve the village atmosphere and environment.

Transition Meanwood

Transition Meanwood is a community-led group who's aim is to strengthen the local economy, reduce the costs of living and prepare for a future with less oil and a changing climate (while enjoying ourselves at the same time!).

Meanwood Valley Partnership

Meanwood Valley Partnership is a local community group made up entirely of local Meanwood residents with the sole aim of looking after the local area.
