Who is it for? Everyone! As with all our services and events, everyone is welcome to gather! You can be sure of a friendly greeting and plenty of opportunity to chat and make friends. There are always activities for children and usually a children's group during part of gather. When is it? Every Sunday at 11:30am Where is it? Normally in the Parish Hall but the first Sunday of each month is in the church, where there will sometimes be baptisms On the first Sunday, from 11am onwards, we join the congregation from the traditional service (Sung Eucharist or Parade) for tea/coffee and biscuits in church. On the third Sunday of the month we often share a meal together after gather - see details opposite

Get involved For those who would like to, whatever your age, there are many opportunities to be involved in different ways in gather. Just talk to one of the leadership team. The gather leaders are: Chris and Sarah Orme, Mary Bradley, Sandra Glassby, Clare Spencer, Margaret Jackson, Lesley Trickett, Ande and Agnis Smallwood, Simon and Judith Marlow, Steve and Candie Stephenson, Sandra Simpson and Christina Grant.
A Visit from the Archbishop of York! On Thursday 20th September we had a special visitor to gather, when John Sentamu, Archbishop of York came along. We heard the parable of the Prodigal Son, and thought a bit about what it means for us to have such a forgiving Father. Afterwards we shared a meal together, had a lot of fun, and the Archbishop really enjoyed meeting the gather family!

We're currently looking at the book of Acts, and the life of the early church.
Look out for chances to have a meal together, and invite your friends!

What can I expect?

Music, videos, drama, Bible readings, short talks, discussion and lots more!

There will always be prayer and an opportunity to be prayed for.

Children's groups and a discussion group are available most weeks.

Join in or just sit and watch with a free cup of tea or coffee.

Come and go as you want.

If you're coming with children, they will make new friends, have fun and learn.

Children and young people can help lead gather if they would like to.
