In May Chirs cycled from Land's End in Cornwall to John O'Groats in Scotland - the length of mainland Britain! This iconic journey is often know as “LEJOG” Chirs avoided the busiest roads, travelling 997.8 miles, mostly on B roads and cylcle paths. There is still time to sponsor him. The money raised will be divided between Holy Trinity Meanwood and Re~Cycle, who collect second-hand bikes and ships them to Africa, where partners teach local people how to repair and maintain them, helping them to improve their own lives in a sustainable manner. |
